Ty's Treats: Bundaberg brewed beverages, the best from down under!

One of my favourite brands here at YEG Exotic is the legendary Australian brand of beverages, Bundaberg. In an age of standard factory processing, Bundaberg goes the extra mile by creating their own real-fruit concoctions that they then ferment for a few days.

Wait, what? Why the fermentation my confused candy connoisseurs might ask? Simple: Fermentation brings out a new depth of flavor and carbonation that you can't simulate thanks to the impossible-to-cheat process that only Father Time can provide. Not only do the flavors become more complex, they actually age better in glass bottles too! (I'm trying to find one from 1965 but I don't think I'm alone in the hunt. HMU.)

The other side of this delicious tale is the specialty flavors I've not seen replicated in other brands, like the traditional Burgundee Creaming Soda. This is like an amped up cream soda that uses red grapes for flavor, giving it way more flavor than standard vanilla cream sodas (my personal favourite, you should grab them before I do!). Cream soda not your jam? We got you covered with their Peach, Guava, Blood Orange, Pina Colada, Root beer, lemonade, and, used in many a prolific pubs, good ol'

Aside from the bottle being fun and stout like an aluminum can, it's also got a fun little rip-tab when you're feeling nostalgic for Beyblades. Oh yeah, did I mention it's also 100% family owned and operated since it's inception in the 1960's? Nice work, Flemming family!

Anyways, this is Ty signing off. Step a little out of the monotonous and try yourself a new comfort drink. It may even become your next favourite like it did for me!
